Tiny Miss and Future Little Miss will still walk on stage, but the emcees will read their information. We want our Miss United States Agriculture Queens to be well-spoken and feel comfortable speaking in front of a crowd. This is your opportunity to tell the judges about your state and its agricultural base! Attire for this area of the competition is solid white bottoms with your Competition Miss United States Agriculture T-Shirt. Bottoms can be shorts, pants, skirts, or capris. Bottoms MUST BE SOLID WHITE. Remember this area of the competition is about SPEAKING and accessorizing too much can be distracting.
For the formal wear competition Tiny Miss contestants will need a short pageant dress. Future Little Miss & Little Miss contestants have the choice of either a short or long pageant dress. Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms., Mrs., & Elite Ms. contestants will need a floor-length gown.
The interview is a one-on-one session with the judges! Questions will be age-appropriate. The dress will be the same as the on-stage Introduction. The Miss United States Agriculture Shirt and white bottoms. Do not put anything over your National T-shirt. You can wear a belt if you choose and the shoe color is of your choosing. This will be a 3-minute interview. Bring a resume with you. A total of 4 copies and turn them in at check-in. We will put them in binders for the judges. When you enter the interview room, stop next to your chair and introduce yourself before having a seat. If at the end the judges accidentally attempt to give you your resumes back tell them they can actually keep them.
Example: Good morning, I am your Elite Ms. Contestant #1 Ciera Ingram
You can turn in a total of 3 photogenic pictures. (1) is FREE and included in your entry. You can enter up to 2 additional photos at $25 each. Photo must be 8×10 and can be in color or black and white. Photo will be turned in at check-in! Please do not bring them in any type of cover. We will place them in a clear sheet protector with your age division and contestants' number at check-in. Please do not submit photos in crown and sash. Please do not submit photos with any type of hat on. We prefer headshots with absolutely nothing "extra."
During this “fun fashion” the emcee will be reading a brief intro about YOUR state that you have provided! (the state you are representing at Nationals) Incorporate that into your FUN FASHION!
Your score is made up of the two required areas of competition (On Stage Introduction & Formal Wear) and your highest scored optional. If you compete in only one optional that score will be used for the score.
