NATIONAL AREAS OF COMPETITION

On Stage Introduction (Required)

On Stage Introduction (Required)

On Stage Introduction (Required)

The Introduction portion of the competition is open to contestants in the Little Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms., Mrs., and Elite Ms. divisions only.

Tiny Miss and Future Little Miss contestants will also take the stage; however, their introductions will be presented by the emcees.

The Miss United States Agriculture program places a strong emphasis on confidence, poise, and effective communication. This segment provides contestants with the opportunity to speak publicly and share information about their state and its agricultural foundation with the judges.

Attire for this portion of the competition consists of solid white bottoms paired with the official Miss United States Agriculture Competition T-shirt. Acceptable options include shorts, pants, skirts, or capris. All bottoms must be solid white.

As this segment focuses on speaking skills, contestants are encouraged to keep accessories minimal, as excessive accessorizing may be distracting.

Formal Wear (Required)

On Stage Introduction (Required)

On Stage Introduction (Required)

The Formal Wear competition highlights each contestant’s elegance, confidence, and stage presence while showcasing age-appropriate formal attire. This segment allows contestants to demonstrate poise, posture, and natural beauty, with emphasis placed on how confidently and gracefully they present themselves rather than on the outfit alone.

Attire requirements vary by division to ensure appropriate presentation:

  • Tiny Miss, Future Little Miss and Little Miss contestants may wear either a short or floor-length pageant dress.

  • Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms., Mrs., and Elite Ms. contestants present in a floor-length formal gown.

Interview (Optional)

On Stage Introduction (Required)

Photogenic (Mandatory)

The Interview Competition consists of a one-on-one session with the judging panel, designed to evaluate communication skills, confidence, and personality. All interview questions will be age-appropriate for each division.

Contestants will wear the same attire as the on-stage Introduction, which includes the official Miss United States Agriculture T-shirt paired with solid white bottoms. No additional garments may be worn over the National T-shirt. A belt may be worn if desired, and shoe color is the contestant’s choice.

Each interview will last approximately three (3) minutes. Contestants are required to bring a resume, with four (4) copies submitted at check-in. These resumes will be organized into binders for the judges’ review.

Upon entering the interview room, contestants should pause beside their chair, offer a confident introduction, and then take a seat.

Introduction Example:
“Good morning, I am your Elite Ms. contestant number one, Ciera Ingram.”

Photogenic (Mandatory)

State Fun Fashion (Optional)

Photogenic (Mandatory)

Contestants may submit one (1) Photogenic photo only for judging. This photo is included at no additional cost with your entry.

Photos must be submitted online by the designated deadline. The image should be an 8×10–style portrait (color or black and white) with high resolution suitable for judging.

Photos should reflect a clean, natural look. Crown and sash are not permitted, and hats of any kind are not allowed. Headshots are strongly preferred, with minimal styling and no distracting elements, allowing the contestant’s natural beauty and expression to remain the focus.

Submitted photos will be digitally labeled with the contestant’s age division and contestant number for judging purposes.

State Fun Fashion (Optional)

State Fun Fashion (Optional)

During the Fun Fashion segment, the emcee will share a short introduction about your state (the one you’re representing at Nationals) using the details you provide. Your outfit should bring that introduction to life and be centered around agriculture, highlighting the role it plays in your state’s identity.

This is your opportunity to showcase what your state is known for through a fun, creative, agriculture-inspired look that also reflects your unique personal style. Your emcee card should tell a story that weaves together your state, agriculture, and your fashion, all while you confidently model your Fun Fashion on stage.
