This page replaces what was once our contestant handbook. We will no longer be putting information in multipe places. We have this one page that will be updated and provide necessary pageant information. So it is very important that you submit your email address below so you receive updates.
Hi there! I can't really remember a time where pageantry wasn't in some way a part of my life. However, in 2016 after the very sudden death of my mother, I began to look at life through a much different lense. To be honest, it had me questioning whether or not I even wanted to continue with pageantry or turn the page to my next chapter. As the years went on we began putting together a team that pulled life back into the program and gave me a renewed sense of belief on what we were here to accomplish.
Kindness as a Core Value: Our pageant seeks to champion kindness as a core value. We believe that contestants are much more than a pretty face with one of the most important traits being their inner beauty - their kindness, empathy, and their genuine commitment to making the world a better place. If you lack these what I consider to be bare minimum human traits our program is not going to suit you. Please keep that in mind before moving forward. The catty reputation pageantry as a whole sometimes has ... that has no place here.
Before moving moving forward with this program know that I don't want to hear gossip about anyone. Ever. Other peoples business is not my business. We are here for one purpose and that purpose is to help develop future CONFIDENT leaders that will leave their mark in the Agriculture industry. Do you feel like your can contribute to that positively? If so, we will get along just fine. If not, I wish you continued success in your future endeavors.

We award one Miss Agriculture title at the State Pageant. The Miss Agriculture title is an award based on Volunteering, AGvocating, EDUCATING and Promoting the Miss United States Agricuture Pageant program. This queen is someone who is actively involved in our program. She volunteers her time, talents, and energy to benefit the less fortunate in her community. This queen is truly a role model for young ladies across the nation and in the Agriculture Industry.
We award ONE COVER MISS title at State. The contestant who sells the most ads in our Program Book will be featured on our back cover.
Since this is a combined state pageant, if there is any state who has a contestant who sells 2 or more full page ads in the program book we WILL award an individual Cover Miss title in that State. If that does not happen, we will simply award a Cover Miss title to the one contestant who sells the most ads in our program book.
The Back Cover will go to the contestant who sold the MOST ad pages in our program book. If we are able to award individual State Cover Miss titles we will also utilize the inside back cover and inside front cover to feature the top contestants from the three states.
This title is awarded to the first 10 contestants who submit 10 or more FULL page ads in the program book will AUTOMATICALLY receive a Hostess title. The first 10 contestants who do this will receive a National Rhinestone Crown, Rhinestone trimmed sash and the opportunity to move on to the National Pageant
ON STAGE INTRODUCTION
Tiny Miss and Future Little Miss will walk on stage, but the emcees will read their information from a stage card.
The Introduction portion of the competition is for Little Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms, Mrs. & Elite Ms. Contestants Only. These age divisions will not "walk the stage". They will simply walk onstage directly to the microphone, complete their introduction and exit the stage. While the judges will take into account your overall appearance this area of competition is truly about COMMUNICATION and does not involve onstage modeling of any kind for age divisions that are speaking.
The purpose of this area of competition is to give you the opportunity to tell our judges anything you would like them to know about YOU but should also have a heavy focus on educating them about Agriculture in your State! It is crucial that our Miss United States Agriculture Queens are well-spoken and feel comfortable speaking in front of a crowd.
FORMAL WEAR
For the formal wear competition Tiny Miss contestants will need a short pageant dress. Future Little Miss & Little Miss contestants have the choice of either short or long pageant dress. Junior Miss, Teen Miss, Miss, Ms. Mrs., & Elite Ms. contestants will need a floor-length gown. During formalwear contestants will not need a stage card, we will simply be introducing them by name and announcing the State they are from.
PHOTOGENIC
Please pay close attention to this. Photogenic is NOW a required area of competition. Each contestant competing must bring an 8x10 photo for each of our judges binders. You will need to bring with you to check in a total of (3) copies of the same photogenic photo to be placed in our judges binders. The back of your photos need to be labeled with your First & Last Name along with the age division you are competing it. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR CONTESTANT NUMBER. We will be sliding these into clear sheet protectors that already have your contestant number.
All Emcee Cards must be turned in to the National Office by January 1st, 2024. Please note that once your emcee cards are submitted they will not be edited. Please do not submit these until you have a finalized version that you are committed to remaining unchanged. Requests to updated emcee cards after the first submission will not be updated. Form for this is coming soon!
We award one Miss Agriculture title at the National Pageant. Traditional scoring is not used in this area of the competition. Each contestant who has a desire to compete in this area of competition will turn in a scrapbook at check in. Each one of these books will be viewed by a panel and a group decision will be made.
The following is what is being taken into consideration when judging these:
It is likely that you will have a lot of information to cover so take that into consideration when choosing a scrapbook because you can only turn in ONE book. So if that book is a 3 ring large binder where each page is put together using clear sheet protectors, that is ok! But remember, we aren't looking for the person who has the largest book put together. We are looking for the person who made the biggest impact.
